Tic-Tac-Toe,
a game for two.
The game everyone already knows, made for playing together. A quick match with a grandchild over FaceTime. A best-of-seven across the kitchen table. A move a day with a friend far away. It was never about the Xs and Os.
This is our plan for Tic-Tac-Toe, one of six family games we added to the roadmap in September 2026. We haven't started it yet, and its place in the build order is still being decided.

Big. Bold. Friendly.
Large marks, a running score, and a match you can pick up any time.

How Tic-Tac-Toe plays
Two players. Nine squares. One simple goal.
Take turns
One player is X, the other is O. Take turns marking an empty square.
Line up
Get three of your marks in a row, across, down or corner to corner, and you win.
Play the match
Between good players, most games end in a draw. So play a match: first to four wins.
It's really about who you play with
Play over FaceTime
Start a game in the middle of a call, each of you on your own device.
Across the table
Two phones in the same room. Or one iPad, passed back and forth.
A move a day
Take turns over hours, or days, with a friend far away.
A gentle computer too
Practice alone, against an opponent that goes from easy all the way to unbeatable.
Undo a slip
Against the computer, take back any move you like.
Works offline
Same-room and solo games work anywhere. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Tic-Tac-Toe for everyone
Large marks, spoken moves, and simple enough for any age.
VoiceOver throughout
Every square is announced, and every move is spoken. Tic-Tac-Toe works without looking.
Voice and Switch Control
Standard accessibility actions, including a list of the moves you can make.
Sizes that fit
Large marks and board, with full Dynamic Type everywhere else.
High contrast
X and O differ by shape. Never by color alone.
Reduce Motion
Marks fade in instead of drawing when Reduce Motion is on.
Simple for kids
Big targets and clear marks, so even the youngest players can join in.
Free to play. Pro if you'd like more.
Pro is one optional purchase, for the families who play every day. Nothing to renew, nothing to remove.

Good to know
When will Tic-Tac-Toe be released?
Not yet. Tic-Tac-Toe is on the roadmap, and we haven't started it. We don't announce dates we can't keep. When it's ready, this page will have a download link.
Will it cost anything?
Not to play. Tic-Tac-Toe will be free to download and the whole game free to play. Pro will be an optional one-time purchase. There will never be ads or a subscription.
Can I play with friends?
Yes, and that's the whole idea. Invite people you know over FaceTime or Messages with SharePlay, or through Game Center, live or taking turns over days. It's always free, with no accounts and no servers of ours. There's no matchmaking with strangers.
Isn't Tic-Tac-Toe too simple for an app?
On your own, maybe. But it isn't made for playing alone. It's made for the people you know: a quick game over FaceTime, a match across the table, a move a day with someone far away. That's where it shines.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
Neither. Playing alone works offline, with no account and no sign-in. Your games and stats stay on your device.
Will it come to Android?
It's on the way, after the iPhone and iPad apps. We plan to bring the whole collection to Android.
Data Not Collected
That's the App Store privacy label on every app we make, Tic-Tac-Toe included. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising. What happens in the app stays on your device.
Something to play now.
Tic-Tac-Toe comes after the games already in progress, and its place in line is still being decided. There's no mailing list, because we don't collect email addresses. Check back here.
